Golden Icon National e-Governance Award 2005
| The 9th National e-Governance Conference, convened at Kochi in Kerala under the joint auspices of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance, Department of Information Technology, Government of India, and the Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, provides a forum for discussion on various e-Governance related issues among experts from Administration, Industry and Academic, leading to the formulation of Regional and National e-Governance strategies. The National Convention enables delegates to share the success stories emanating from states which have already taken a lead in e-Governance. The Innovative Project of MCH, "Hyderabad First" has bagged the "Golden Icon National Award 2005" for Exemplary Innovative in e-Governance under the category "Professional Excellence for Process Re-Engineering-Professional" organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Govt. of India. |

The Project has recently started following new initiatives: 1. Payment of Property Tax
through APOnline centers and Credit/Debit cards on the website H.W. Mayor Sri T. Krishna Reddy, Commissioner Sri Sanjay Jaju, IAS and Additional Commissioner(F&IT) Sri B.Ramesh Babu received the prestigious Golden Icon National Award 2005 from Sri M.K.Muneer, Hon'ble Minister for Works, Govt. of Kerala for their Innovative Project of MCH, "Hyderabad First" for Exemplary Innovative in e-Governance under the category "Professional Excellence for Process Re-Engineering-Professional" organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Govt. of India at Kochi, Kerala. To this contest, about 40 institutions from Andhra Pradesh and over 240 entries from National level participated. This award has given away at the Conference Hall of LeMardian Hotel, Kochi on 2nd Feb 2006. |
